Whether you’re new to fishing or have been fishing Lake Manitouwabing for years, this derby is about getting out on the lake, catching fish and having fun. There is no entry fee and no pressure — and you might even win a prize!
The derby uses Total Length scoring. Your score is the combined total length of all eligible fish you submit during the derby — so keep fishing and keep adding to your total.
A photo showing the fish against a measuring ruler is preferred. Don’t have a ruler? An estimated length is allowed. This is a friendly, fun derby, so we’re counting on everyone to keep it fair.
1. Download or open the Fish On Canada app.
2. Join the Lake Manitouwabing group.
3. Open the derby and join.
4. Get fishing and submit your catches in the app.
5. Watch the leaderboard as your total length grows.
